Nigerian singer, Buju now known as BNXN has thrown subtle shade at his former label boss, Burna Boy.

 He hopped on Twitter to reveal that he has been happy and flourishing since he left Burna Boy. According to him, God has been good to him and has blessed him since he went independent.

“God blessed me x10 since I went independent ”, he tweeted

Buju fans on Twitter wasted no time in calling him out for his tweet. They asked why he said something which implied Burna Boy didn’t help his career. Others congratulated Buju on his big break and also wished him well on his next project.

Buju got signed to Spaceship records in 2020 and released Lenu Remix featuring Burna Boy. However, Buju for yet to be disclosed reasons left after a year of being under Burna Boy.
